  • 3 large eggs

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup light brown sugar

  • Cup light Karo syrup

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • Teaspoon vanilla extract

  • One cup pecans

  • Pinch salt

  • Unbaked 9 inch pie shell


  1. Beat eggs slightly, add sugars and Karo. Beat again.

  2. Add pinch of salt, vanilla, melted butter.

  3. Beat a little more.

  4. Place pecans on crust

  5. Pour mixture on top

  6. Add a few whole pecans to top of pie

  7. Bake at 350 about 45-60 minutes
