Cape CARES is a not for profit humanitarian organization. We maintain no religious or political affiliation. We endeavor to deliver high quality community-based care to people living in rural Honduras, including team-centered primary care, medical and dental treatment, preventive care, health education and training for the local communities. We provide services with compassion, professionalism, and respect for the culture and society of the Honduran people. Currently operating in two clinics, Cape CARES sends volunteer teams to remote, mountainous areas of Honduras, to provide free medical and dental care to people who have little to no access to care. Our goal is to offer preventative and follow-up care, traveling to the same clinics 3 times a year.  We work to provide skills, supplies, and the educational training necessary to achieve a higher level of health and well-being for the communities surrounding the clinics.
